Hi...

My mom expired back in 84 and recently my father. I am doing this because i always wanted to know if there was anybody, any relatives still alive...

My mom was from Solu khumbu... she came to Bhutan back in 60s with her mother to work here. She got married to my father a bhutanese and settled here, she never went back to Nepal. I believe my mother was the daughter of  some lama called " Chinia lama from boudha temple" this is all i know.

by the way my mother was called LHAKPA YANGCHEN.

If anybody has slightest idea of any person related to this family please notify me.

Yes, we know the Chinai Lama from Boudha, he's a pretty famous lama. I don't know the details, but his daughter or granddaughter got married to a Sherpa from Solu, and some relatives live in Katmandu and some in New York I guess. If you post that in New York Sherpa Kyidug website, it might be more helpful. www.sherpakyidug.org

Dear CK Sherpa
I really wish to help this person to find his relatives but the person has to provide the following

1. Name of the father ?

2. Which part of Bhutan the family lived ?

3. Where is this person living now ?

4. What is the name of the person who is looking for family members ?

5. Which website did the person posted this news ?
If the person knows her mum is from Solu Khumbu then Chinia Lama from Boudha can't be mom's father because Chinia Lama is definately not from Solu Khumbu. IF the person provided more information I will try my best to help.

ATTN : Kisan La

Kadrin chay la for the tips on the relatives.

I went through your questions for me and at the same time towards the end you have mentioned that Chinia lama is not from Solu. How can he be from Solu when i was told that he was from China???

My mother's mother(ie my grandmother) was from Solu. My mother was the only daughter and both mother and daughter expired here in Bhutan.

To simplify our search , we have few pics of the relatives back home, will try to get it and post it for ur ref.

till then bye.

Warm regards

ANS: Do you mean i am lying over the two dead people here. Your statement above is an insult to my dead mom and my family. Please try to understand the sentativity of the issue and comment.

I guess i have to give up looking for whatever i am looking for coz this is not going to go anywhere i know.  Anyway thanks for your help so far.

Best of luck.
